These terms govern your use of the ScopeGuard mobile app ("the app," "we," "us"). By using the app, you agree to them.
ScopeGuard uses artificial intelligence to review contract text or PDFs you provide, flag clauses that may be risky, and draft an email you can send to the other party. It is an informational tool only.
ScopeGuard does not provide legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, and a result with no issues flagged does not mean a contract is safe. Have a qualified lawyer review any contract that matters to you before you sign it.
You keep ownership of the contracts and other content you submit. You give us permission to process it, including sending it to our AI provider, solely to produce your review. Only submit documents you are allowed to share, and check any confidentiality or NDA terms that apply to them first. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
Do not use the app to break the law, to submit content you have no right to share, to attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the service, or to send automated or abusive volumes of requests.
The app includes a limited number of free reviews. After that, ScopeGuard Pro is available as an auto-renewing monthly subscription, billed through Google Play at the price shown before you subscribe. The subscription renews until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in the Subscriptions section of Google Play, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policies.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, free-review limits, or pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified of price changes as required by Google Play.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app or reliance on its output, including decisions made about contracts. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
You can stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access if these terms are broken.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario/Canada, subject to any mandatory consumer rights where you live.
